About Us
Our History
A family owned and operated funeral home, serving the Mid-Del community since 1998.

Barnes Friederich Funeral Home was established in 1998 as a need for a family owned and operated funeral home arose. This new beginning gave our community an alternative to the dominating corporate funeral homes. We were the first to see and take action concerning this matter and continue to be Midwest City's only family owned and operated Funeral Home.
Former Oklahoma County Treasurer and Midwest City Community leader, Joe B. Barnes and Vincent Friederich formed the Family Owned and Operated Funeral Home that this community needed. Not long after, Rhonda (Barnes) Burnett joined her Dad and Vincent to continue the Barnes Friederich Funeral Home Legacy. After Joe’s passing in 2013 Vincent and Rhonda continued the family operated business and in 2018 Cliff Pope partnered with Vincent to carry on the Funeral Home’s legacy.
In December of 2024 Vincent and Cliff expanded the Funeral Home options to families with the purchase of Ford Funeral Service in Del City. Today, Vincent, Cliff & Rhonda are still proud be a part of the Mid-Del Community. They are honored to assist families in the area, as well as the Greater Oklahoma City and Eastern Oklahoma County areas, at either of their Barnes-Friederich & Pope Funeral Home locations.
